Course Information
Gain essential money management skills through the new LiFE (Lessons in Financial Education) Award from Agored Cymru, developed in partnership with the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF). This practical qualification helps learners develop the confidence and knowledge to make informed financial decisions through engaging, real-life activities.
Learners will explore topics including where money comes from, budgeting, banking, saving, borrowing, insurance, keeping money safe, understanding financial risks and building confidence in managing their own finances. This qualification develops valuable life skills that will support learners throughout further education, employment and independent living.
The course is delivered entirely online, allowing learners to study at their own pace with tutor support and flexible access to learning materials.

Assessment Information
The qualification is assessed through an externally set and externally marked online examination consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions, which can be taken on demand when learners are ready.
Examinations are completed using secure remote invigilation, allowing learners to sit the assessment from home while maintaining the integrity of the qualification.
- Pass: 15–30 marks
- Fail: 0–14 marks
Course Fee
£100, including registration, tutor support, secure remote invigilation and the first examination.
Progression Opportunities
Successful learners can progress to the LiFE Certificate Level 1/2, further developing their financial knowledge and practical money management skills while preparing for independent living, further education and the workplace.
