A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE SPACE

Support that starts with the young person

Every child and young person is different. Sophie creates a calm, non-judgemental space where they can talk openly, make sense of difficult feelings and learn practical ways to cope. CBT is an important part of her work, but therapy is always shaped around the individual — not the other way around.
Early intervention and prevention are central to Sophie’s approach, helping young people develop skills they can carry forward into everyday life.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A clear, supportive route forward

Simple steps, no pressure — and support centred on the needs of the young person.

1. Start with a conversation

Tell us what is happening and what kind of support you are looking for. We can help you work out whether Sophie’s approach is a good fit.

2. Begin therapeutic sessions

One-to-one support is initially offered for up to eight sessions, giving space for trust, understanding and practical strategies to develop.

3. Review progress

Around the sixth session, progress is reviewed and any ongoing support needs can be discussed together.
