Our 2-year GCSE Welsh course is designed to support students in building confidence and fluency in the language, while developing the skills needed to succeed in their final exams. With regular guidance and structured learning, students are supported every step of the way.

Course details:

  • Start date: September 2026
  • Duration: 2 years (final exams Summer 2028)
  • Sessions: Fortnightly lessons
  • Session length: 1.5 hours
  • Tutor: Led by experienced tutor Sarah – a languages teacher specialising in Welsh, Spanish, and Italian

What students can expect:

  • A supportive and structured approach to learning Welsh
  • Regular practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Ongoing guidance to help students stay on track and build confidence
  • Preparation for all aspects of the GCSE assessment
