Whether you love drawing, painting, doodling or simply making things, Sketchbook Social is the perfect place to experiment with new ideas, play with different materials and discover your own unique artistic style.
There are no right or wrong answers here, just a welcoming space where creativity can flourish.

Throughout the course, participants will:
- Fill their sketchbooks with drawings, doodles, patterns and creative ideas.
- Experiment with a wide range of exciting art materials and techniques.
- Find inspiration from nature, stories, colour, texture and the world around them.
- Develop confidence by exploring their own creative interests and ideas.
- Learn playful artistic techniques without the pressure of creating a finished masterpiece.
- Transform everyday objects and recycled materials into imaginative works of art.
- Share ideas, encourage one another and enjoy creating in a friendly, supportive environment.
Each sketchbook becomes a personal creative journal, a place to collect inspiration, try new techniques, make mistakes, solve problems and celebrate artistic discoveries.

Sketchbook Social encourages curiosity, experimentation and creative thinking while helping young artists develop confidence in their own ideas. Rather than focusing on producing one finished piece each session, participants are encouraged to investigate, question and develop their creativity through play and exploration.
We provide all the essential art materials to get everyone started. Occasionally, participants may be invited to bring along interesting packaging, recycled materials or found objects from home, giving everyday items a brand-new creative purpose.
