How to Register

Registering to sit your exams at Crossroads Exam Centre is simple and straightforward.

Step 1 – Request an Entry Form

Email exams@crossroads.wales to request your exam entry form. Once we’ve received your enquiry, we’ll send you everything you need to complete your registration, including:

  • Your online exam entry form
  • A quotation for your exam fees
  • Payment instructions
  • Key entry deadlines and important information

Your exam place is confirmed once we have received your completed entry form and full payment.

Step 2 – Complete the Entry Form

Complete the online entry form (this usually takes around 15 minutes).

You’ll need a Google account to access the form. If you don’t already have one, you can create one for free before you begin.

Step 3 – Have These Ready

Before completing your form, please have the following available:

  • Valid photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence)
  • Proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement)
  • Your UCI (Unique Candidate Identifier), if you’ve sat GCSEs or A Levels before. If not, simply enter “NONE”.

Step 4 – Enter Your Exam Details

Complete your exam information carefully, including:

  • Exam board
  • Subject
  • Exam code
  • Tier of entry (Foundation or Higher, where applicable)
  • Option codes (for subjects such as English Literature to ensure you receive the correct exam papers)
  • Any Access Arrangements or ALN/SEND requirements

Step 5 – Payment

Once you’ve submitted your entry form, we’ll review your details and send you a final invoice if required. Payment can be made by bank transfer or debit/credit card using the instructions provided.

Please note that your exam entry cannot be submitted to the awarding body until payment has been received in full. We therefore recommend completing payment as soon as possible to secure your place before the relevant exam board deadline.

If you’re unsure about exam codes, tiers, or option codes, don’t panic. Our experienced Exams Team will check your entry carefully and contact you if anything needs amending. Changes can usually be made up until the awarding body’s entry deadline, giving you complete peace of mind.
