What a session feels like

You arrive at Techniquest, don your lab coat, and step into a real science playground. You’ll work through experiments—mixing, measuring, observing—while your tutor explains what’s happening and why. Between experiments, discuss results, test new ideas, and get your hands dirty. You leave buzzing with insights, photos, and a fresh fascination for how the world works.

The 28th January and 11th February are extra dates we’ve added to our blocks. On these days the workshops won’t be based on the GCSE syllabus and will be fun scientific experiments that everyone will enjoy.

Who will love this

  • Home-educated students who crave hands-on learning
  • Teens curious about science, engineering, or STEM paths
  • Experimenters who learn by doing, not just reading
  • Families wanting enrichment beyond the classroom
